Letter to our Customers from the General Manager, Michael LeBrun, clarifying the proposed changes to garbage service in Nipomo dated July 6, 2005 
Proposed Rate Structure
On May 11, 2005, the Nipomo Community Services District Board of Directors introduced an Ordinance that would:
1. Require all developed properties, within the District that are less than 2.5 acres, receive solid waste service (mandatory garbage service).
2. Require the NCSD Franchise to increase service levels by providing residential property with a minimum of :
A. A 32 gallon waste wheeler for garbage;
B. A 64 gallon waste wheeler for recycling; and
C. A 96 gallon waste wheeler for greenwaste.
3. Revise the rates for solid waste service to reflect the above service levels.
4. Designate the property owner as the responsible person for payment of delinquent rates.
5. Establish procedures for the District to collect delinquent charges as liens on property.
