Francisco Maldonado has served as Operations Manager since early 2023 and was appointed permanently in early 2024. He oversees daily operations for the District’s water distribution, wastewater collection, and wastewater treatment systems.
A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Mr. Maldonado joined the District in 2012 and became Wastewater Supervisor and Chief Plant Operator in 2018. He has more than 10 years of water and wastewater industry experience and remains active in the community through the Nipomo Football League and Nipomo High School football coaching staff.
He holds an Associate of Science degree in Environmental Health and Safety.
