Francisco Maldonado has served as the Operations Manager since early 2023 on an interim basis and became permanent Operations Manager in early 2024. Mr. Maldonado oversees daily operations of the water distribution system, wastewater collection system, and wastewater treatment facilities.
Mr. Maldonado served in the United States Marine Corps from 2003 to 2008 as an aviation electrician prior to joining the District in April 2012, becoming the Wastewater Supervisor and Chief Plant Operator in 2018. Francisco is an active member in the community serving as a volunteer with Nipomo Football League for over 8 years, as well as a member of the football coaching staff at Nipomo High School. Mr. Maldonado has over 10 years of experience in the water and wastewater industry. Francisco holds an Associates of Science degree in Environmental Health and Safety. |
